Lucky Dip is a study into the structure, functionality and feel of vintage shirting. Founder and maker Tuhirangi Blair was born and studied fashion design at the Auckland University of Technology in Aotearoa New Zealand. The collection consists of five silhouettes across three sizes, adhering to only working with unique fabrics to create one-of-one garments. Each style has been designed with a range of obvious and not so obvious detailing in mind.
Committed to nontraditional design and the collective responsibility shared by all now and into the future Lucky Dip breathes new life into some of the most enduring designs using recycled, re-purposed, re-loved, and often dead-stock fabric. Tuhirangi selects materials throughout the world and constructs them in Melbourne, Australia.
